Welcome to our new and returning U8 Lakers families.

I’d like to welcome and introduce Scott Illingworth as our U8 Seniors appointed coach for the year. Scott can be contacted either through our TeamApp or on 0407 097 202.

We are still looking for someone to coach our U8 Reserves team so please reach out to myself to discuss further.

Our U8’s training will start on Wednesday 23rd April at 4:30 to 5:30pm on Lakers oval number two and will continue every Wednesday throughout the season unless advised otherwise by the coaches.

The U8 season will start on Friday 2nd May and finish on Friday 4th July.

Reserves play at 6pm and Seniors play at 7pm.

Further information will follow closer to the start of the season on location and ground layout of the first game via the Team App.

Note: Due to the change in age from U9 to U8 this year an age limit applies.
To qualify you Must be 7 years old by April 30th 2025 to play U/8 football & must have been born on or prior to 30/04/2018. This is an AFL Victoria rule/policy and there are no exemptions.
